Strain Description: A Cre-inducible luciferase transgene was targeted into the Rosa26 locus and is driven by a CMV-based promoter. This allele when used in combination with Cre-regulated oncogenes or tumor suppressors can allow for noninvasive detection of tumors in mice. This allele permits serial imaging of mice, thus increasing the utility of mouse tumor models as a system to test therapeutics.
