Description: |
These mice express point-mutant p53 under control of the endogenous Trp53 promoter. Heterozygous mice have an increased tumor burden relative to Trp53+/- mice but similar survival curves. The animals show a broad tumor spectrum with an increased frequency of carcinomas, osteosarcomas, hemangiosarcomas, and lymphoblastic lymphomas. Osteosarcomas are more frequently metastatic. An improved model for Li-Fraumeni Syndrome. |
